The 3rd Edition of the Toyota Karnataka Golf Festival (TKGF), will be held from Sept 1st to 4th, 2011 at the Karnataka Golf Association, Bangalore. The TKGF presented by Dept. of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, marks the recognition of Karnataka as a Golf Tourism Destination. This is Karnataka’s largest Amateur Golf Event at a single club where over 450 golfers will participate over 4 days
The Winning Team of 4 Golfers, would win a 7 Nights Holiday on The Golden Chariot “Pride of The South”, courtesy, KSTDC. Each team member is required to play 1 round of Golf (18 holes) only.
TKGF is also, the official India qualifier for the World Golfers’ Championship (WGC) in which five winners from 5 different handicap categories will represent India at the WGC in Durban, South Africa, October 29th to November 5th, 2011.

Team Score- Scoring is on individual modified stableford basis on ¾ handicap. Individual and team prizes will be announced on Sunday the 4th September
Format-
Entry for 18 years and above only
Each player plays only one round of 18 holes. (1st/2nd/3rd/4th, September 2011)
Team entry fee is 20,000/- for 4 persons. Each team member plays one round of golf on one of the four days(One team member per day).Any players unable to form a team may enter as an individual with registration fee of 6000/- for an individual entry. Tournament organizers will make efforts to form a team of four.

Opportunity to represent India in the World Golfers’ Championship to be held at Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa from Oct 29 – Nov 5, 2011. Five individual winners will win the right to play in the finals of the World Golfers challenge to be held at Durban, South Africa, Oct 29 – Nov 5, 2011. One overall winner will be selected from the entire tournament to represent India in South Africa from each of the following 5 handicap categories: 0-5, 6-10, 11-15,16-20 & 21- 24. These five winners will be provided economy class return airline tickets from Bangalore to Durban, South Africa, 6 nights stay & 6 rounds of golf on 4 renowned golf courses, gala dinner invitations, etc. Visa costs & incidentals to be borne by the winners directly.

Arrangements-
Teams should indicate on the registration form that on which day each player prefers to play. (1st/2nd/3rd/4th, September 2011). Efforts will be made to accommodate requests and will be confirmed directly to each player. The maximum allowed handicap for all players will be 24.
